Abstract
The purpose of this research is to find out how the implementation CTL learning strategies in Learning Class XI Culture in Vocational School 1 Dayun Siak Regency. When this research was conducted from December 2018. The place of this research was conducted at Dayun Vocational High School 1 Subject The subject of this research is the XI grade 1 student of Dayun Vocational High School from 32 students and 1 person from the Cultural Arts teacher class XI at SMK 1 Dayun. The method used in this study is a qualitative method that will produce descriptive data. Data collection techniques are carried out with interview, observation and documentation. Based on the results of research regarding implementation of the ctl learning strategy in learning art culture class xi di The Dayun District 1 SMK Vocational School found that cultural arts teachers had implement the CTL method in teaching, which is motivating students to understand the lessons given to relate it to life they are everyday. Then the results of the study show that the art teacher the culture of the 1 Dayun Vocational School in Siak Regency experienced obstacles in applying CTL method. The most felt constraints are limited time teach to convey various points about the material you want delivered, for example Saman dance.
