Abstract
In this study the implementation of teaching applied by the teacher cause the material taught is less well absorbed by students, thus causing a low core value of dance material obtained by students. The research problem formulation is how the implementation Learning Dance Practices (Bulak Rentian Dance) at Art Subjects Culture in Kuok 2 Public High School Kampar Regency Riau Province Academic Year 2017 / 2018. This study uses a qualitative approach with the location of the study was conducted in April 2018 at Kuok 2 Public High School Kampar Regency, Riau Province. The assigned subject is an art teacher class X culture as a data source that guides the author. Technique data collection in this study using observation, interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique used in this study is descriptive. Based on the research findings, it is known that implementation of dance practice learning (Bulak Bulian dance) in Class X High School Negeri 2 Kuok in the research that has been carried out seen from ten components, namely: 1) Teachers, 2) Learners, 3) Teaching materials, 4) Objectives learning, 5) Methods, 6) Media, 7) Facilities and infrastructure, 8) Learning process teaching, 9) Learning resources, and 10) Evaluation, it can be concluded that the implementation of teaching cultural arts practices in Bulak Bulian Dance in Class X High School Negeri 2 Kuok, it can be concluded that the implementation of teaching has not running maximum.
