Abstract

This research is motivated by the phenomena found in conducting field surveys. The purpose of this study was to determine the results of the Implementation of the Function of the Village Head in Fostering Peace and Order in the Community in Subarak Village, Gunung Sahilan District, Kampar District and to determine the obstacles in the Implementation of the Function of the Village Head. Village Head in Fostering Peace and Order. This research is focused on the fields of peace and order. Guidance Indicators used include Guidance, Supervision, Direction, and Training. The population and sample in this study were the Chairperson of the BPD, the Village Secretary, the Head of the Welfare session, the Head of the Hamlet, the Head of the RT, the Chair of the RW. Bhabinkantibmas, and Society. The type of this research is a descriptive survey using quantitative methods. Based on the results of the questionnaire and observation with respondents regarding the Implementation of the Function of the Village Head in Fostering Peace and Order in the Community in Subarak Village, Gunung Sahilan District, Kampar Regency, it was said to be Good Enough with the recapitulation results (50%). The inhibiting factor of the Implementation of the Function of the Village Head in Fostering Peace and Public Order in Subarak Village, Gunung Sahilan Subdistrict, Kampar District is that the siskambling has not been carried out optimally, due to the lack of direction given by the Village Head regarding siskambling rules to the community. There has been no attempt by the Village Head to make a Regulation on public order such as livestock, which has caused many disorderly community animals. Lack of social interaction and communication between the Village Head and the community, resulted in a lack of guidance from the Village Head regarding peace and order. Suggestions from the results of this study are expected by the Village Head to provide guidance to the community in mobilizing and regulating siskambling, and to pay more attention to the surrounding environment, the need for policy making, namely the Village Regulation governing peace and order, one of which is livestock that are still disorderly. With this the village head can better carry out his functions and the village is safer, peaceful and orderly.
