Abstract

This study aims to produce a proper biology learning video on the human respiratory system material for class XI high school students. This research is a Research and Development (R&D) research using the Thiagarajan 4-D development model. The development of this video is carried out in several stages, namely define, design, and development. The subjects of this study were students of class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Kampar, SMA Negeri 2 Kampar, and SMA Negeri 1 Kampar Utara. The research data were obtained from validation sheets that were assessed by material experts, media experts, and biology teachers, as well as student response sheets obtained from the results of limited feasibility trials from students. The results showed that the quality of the feasibility of learning videos based on the results of validation by material experts was in the very feasible category with an average percentage of 91.25% (very feasible), the results of validation by media experts got an average percentage of 85.41% (very feasible). ), the results of validation by three biology teachers got an average percentage of 97.08% (very feasible), and the results of trials on students got an average percentage of 94.68% (very feasible). Based on these categories, it can be concluded that the biology learning videos developed are very feasible and can be used in learning activities and get a positive response from students.
