Abstract

The developing of Audio-visual learning media based on video documentary is include in the Research and Development (R&D). This research was conducted on 20 August 2020. This development research uses the ADDIE development with several stages, namely analysis, design, and development. Data collection instruments used were in the form of validation sheets and students questionnaire responses. The sampling technique used in this research is Simple Random Sampling. Data collection using validation sheets and students questionnaire responses. Data were analyzed using a scale method analysis technique with a modified Likert scale. The results of this research are in the form of products, namely Audio-visual learning media based on video documentary. The research data were obtained from the results of validation by material expert, media expert, learning expert, and limited trial of class XII PPT SMK N Lubuk Dalam students who had studied tissue culture material. The results of the validation by the material expert showed that Audio-visual learning media based on video documentary developed received an average percentage of 91,67% (very valid), 93,75% from media expert (very valid), learning expert 100% (very valid). So that the overall results of Audio-visual learning media based on video documentary assessment by experts amounted to 95,14% with a very valid category. Audio-visual learning media based on video documentary on tissue culture developed has received very good responses from students. This can be seen from the average students response of 90,74% (very good). Based on the results of the validation by experts and students response questionnaire obtained product, namely Audio-visual learning media based on video documentary on tissue culture which is very valid for use in the learning process.
