Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model on the mathematical understanding ability of class X SMK Negeri 1 Kepenuhan of 2018/2019 academic year. This research is a quasi-experimental study (Quasi Experiment). The design used in this study is nonequivalent control group design with purposive sampling technique. The population in this study were all students of class X SMK Negeri 1 Kepenuhan. The sample of this study is class X TKRO as the experimental class using the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model and class X TBSM as the control class using conventional learning. Data collection techniques in this study were carried out by test techniques. Data on the results of students' mathematical comprehension abilities were collected using test instruments in the form of pretest and posttest. The data collected was then analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis, and inferential statistical analysis, namely by the t-test. From the t-test data obtained(). Therefore, it can be concluded that there is the influence of the Missouri Mathematics Project (MMP) learning model on the ability of mathematical understanding of class X students SMK Negeri 1 Kepenuhan.
