Abstract

Educational institutions play an important role in fostering students' concern for the environment. Therefore, the Adiwiyata program must be implemented properly. However, in Kampar District, junior-level schools were still low in their interest in realizing environment-based or adiwiyata schools compared to the number of junior-level schools spread in Kampar District. The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the Minister of Environment's policy No. 05 of 2013 concerning Guidelines for the Implementation of Adiwiyata Junior High School Level Programs in Kampar District. Met o de of this research is survey descriptive. The population in this study amounted to 14 people with census sampling techniques, namely the entire population was sampled. The selected sample is then assigned to be the respondent. The collection techniques used are questionnaire, interview and documentation and observation. The results showed that the implementation of the Minister of Environment's policy number 05 of 2013 concerning the Implementation Guidelines for the Adiwiyata Junior High School Level Program in Kampar District was less implemented. This can be seen from the recapitulation of responses from respondents regarding the implementation of the Minister of Environment's policy number 05 of 2013 concerning the Implementation Guidelines for the Adiwiyata Junior High School Level Program in Kampar District, from the sub-indicators of communication in the measurement category that was not implemented, the resources in the measurement category were not implemented, disposition in the material is less implemented and the bureaucratic structure is also in the less implemented category. Suggestions raised in this study are: for the Kampar District Education Office, the existence of this research is expected to be able to evaluate the implementation of the Adiwiyata program so that in the future the implementation of the Adiwiyata program can run better and to the schools to continue to work together because it has a very important role achieve success adiwiyata programs.
