Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the Village Head and BPD in the Village Policy Determination in the Village of Petala Bumi, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. And to find out the relationship constraints of the Village Head and BPD in Village Policy Determination in the Village of Petala Bumi, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency. The concept of the theory is determined according to Sarwono's opinion and indicators are determined from Wasistiono's opinion. Type of descriptive survey research using quantitative analysis. Sampling using a purposive sampling technique by determining as many as 22 people from the Head of Petala Bumi Village, all members of the Village Consultative Body in Petala Bumi Village, Seberida District, Indragiri Hulu Regency in 2018 BPD members are 5 people, Head of Dusun Sukajadi, Dusun Karyajadi, Dusun Jadi Hope. Data collection is done through observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The conclusion of the research is that the Village Head is expected to have more role in optimizing coordination with the BPD, so that the cooperative relations between institutions can be better in carrying out village governance in accordance with the provisions. BPD members are expected to carry out their duties and functions, so that there is a harmonious relationship between the BPD and the Village Head to create a village government that can prosper the community. For planning village regulations, it is very necessary good cooperation from the parties related to village development planning, namely the village government (village head and village apparatus), Village Consultative Body (BPD), Village Community Institutions (LPM, PKK), organizations community in the village, community leaders or leaders.
