Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Village Consultative Body in channeling community aspirations for development in Tanjung Pauh Village, Singingi Hilir District, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The indicators in this study are exploring community aspirations, accommodating community aspirations, managing community aspirations, channeling community aspirations, and holding meetings. The type of research located in Tanjung Pauh Village, Singingi Hilir Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency is a type of quantitative research with descriptive survey research type, which prioritizes questionnaire lists as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions of objectivity the existence of the research objectives at the meticulous location. The population and sample of this study were the government of Tanjung Pauh village, BPD and the community in the village of Tanjung Pauh, Singingi Hilir Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The types and data collection techniques used consist of primary data which is collected through research tools in the form of questionnaires, interviews and observations, then the primary data is collected using a frequency table tool. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the role of the Village Consultative Body in channeling community aspirations for development in Tanjung Pauh Village, Singingi Hilir Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency is in the category of Role. This means that the role of the Village Consultative Body in channeling community aspirations for development in Tanjung Pauh Village, Singingi Hilir Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency has gone well.
