Abstract

In learning, various problems are often encountered among students lacked confidence in themselves because they felt pessimistic that has no ability to compete with his friends and is afraid face challenges or competition, lack of self-awareness of students towards he is not daring to express an opinion in class discussion. The purpose of research is to know the effect of self-concept on results studying accounting XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. The method is used in research is quantitative which is an explanation. Results data This research was obtained by using the instrument in the form of questions self-concept questionnaire as many as 21 questions. Based on the results of independent test analysis (t) t count> t table (7,248> 2,010 then Ha is accepted, meaning that there is an influence significantly between students' self-concepts of student learning outcomes. So deep this case can be concluded that the students' self-concept influences the results learning class XI students in accounting subjects at SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru. Also with class XI students of SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru, scientifically shows a positive influence between self-concept with student learning outcomes.
