Abstract

One of the functions of the Rokan Hilir Regency Manpower Office is to overcome unemployment by providing employment for the community. The implementation of the function of the Rokan Hilir Regency Manpower Office in overcoming unemployment in achieving policies includes, Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Flattening, Responsiveness, Responsiveness, Accuracy. The purpose of this study is to determine the Implementation of the Function of the Rokan Hilir Workforce Office in Overcoming Unemployment and to know the inhibiting factors at the Rokan Hilir Workforce Function Office in Overcoming Unemployment. The method used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods. The results of the implementation of the Rokan Hilir Regency Manpower Office in the function of overcoming unemployment through six indicators are in the category of "Fairly Implemented" with a total of 31 respondents with a percentage of 62%.The implementation of the functions of the Rokan Hilir Regency Manpower Office is known to have not been carried out through the cooperation of the Office with the company in the provision of job vacancies, and the training and training has not been carried out evenly for job seekers in accordance with their field of education with the aim of increasing the ability of job seekers. Conclusion that the Implementation of Rokan Hilir Regency Manpower Service Function has not been able to carry out its function in overcoming unemployment in Rokan Hilir Regency, But the authors suggest that the Rokan Hilir Regency Manpower Office provides job vacancies via newspapers or websites, and collaborates with job search companies.
