Abstract

The purpose of this research was to determined whether there is a relationship of discpiline learning and way of learning method with biology learning outcomes based on the academic ability of class XI science students in public high school 6 Pekanbaru academic year 2018/2019. The research was conducted from february until maret 2019. The study was a correlational and data correlation using questionnaires, documentation and interviews. The sampel in this research as many as 102 students with different level of academic ability. Analysis of the data in this study using correlation analysis Person Product Moment. The results showed that for high academic, learning discipline (X 1 ), the learning method (X 2 ), with biology learning outcomes (Y) there is a high relationship (0,626). For medium academic, learning discipline (X 1 ) the learning method (X 2 ) with biology learning outcomes (Y) there is a medium relationship (0,509). For low academic, learning discipline (X 1 ) the learning method (X 2 ) with biology learning outcomes (Y) there is a medium relationship (0,523). For significant test scores showed that learning discipline (X 1 ), the learning method (X 2 ), with biology learning outcomes (Y) thitung (3,92) > tabel (2,059). Learning discipline (X 1 ) the learning method (X 2 ) with biology learning outcomes (Y). thitung (3,96) > tabel (2,01). Learning discipline (X1) the learning method (X2) with biology learning outcomes (Y) thitung (3,00) > tabel (2,059). Indicates a significant between way of learning discipline and learning method with result of biology study based on the academic ability of class XI science student in SMA Negeri 6 Pekanbaru on academic year of 2018/2019.
