Abstract

The purpose of this study to produce teaching materials such as module equipped with mind map Biology on the material cell structure and function being used to grade students' learning activities XI SMA / MA. Research using this type of development Research & Development using ADDIE models. Research conducted from stage analyze to stage of development. Data in the development of validation module obtained from the subject material experts, instructional specialists, and teachers, as well as due diligence is limited to 30 students in three different schools to the determination of the sample using Stratified Random Sampling technique. The sample of schools were SMA Negeri Plus Pekanbaru, SMA Negeri 4 Pekanbaru and SMA 15 Pekanbaru. This research resulted in products such module with mind map Biology on material cell structure and function that packed in printed form. Based on the results of validation by subject material experts indicate that module developed feasible for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 82.22%. The results of the validation by learning experts indicate that module developed very feasible for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 95.69%. The results of the validation by three teachers who teach science Biology shows that module developed very feasible for use in the learning process with an average percentage of 89.39%. Module developed very well received feedback from learners. It can be seen from the average responses of students from three schools amounted to 92.48% (very feasible). It can be concluded that module equipped with mind map Biology on the material cell structure and function being used to grade students' learning activities XI SMA / MA developed very feasible for use as a learning tool.
