Abstract
This study to determine the improve of biology learning clas XI Mia3 SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir in academic 2018/2019 by implemented cooperative learning jigsaw II type. This research is using classroom action research (CAR) conducted on mart-may 2019. The subject are 34 stundents of XI Mia3 class at SMA Neger 1 Tapung Hilir that consist of 14 female students and 20 male students. Parameters measure were student learning aoutcomes in the form of absorpsi and mastery learnig gained fremeach quis sessions, meetings and tasks each daily test at each cycyle. The result of descriptive analysis abaut student learning outcomes was don 2 cylcles consisting 11 meetings, the absorption rate for cogtive value befor CAR was 75% arter CAR cycli I absorption 82,85% increased 7,37% from befor CAR II cycle I absorption of student is 85,41% increase 2,56%. Based on this research we concluded that by implementation of cooperative learning jigsaw type II by using Mind mapping students biology learning outcoes of grade XI Mia3 class at SMA Negeri 1 Tapung Hilir in academic year 2018/2019.
