Abstract

This study aims to look at the effectiveness and practicality of imtaq integrated biology module on the material of the MiaI XI class excretion system As-Shofa Islamic High School in Academic Year 2018/2019. Data retrieval was carried out on February 13, 2019 until March 6, 2019. The type of research used was research on EDDIE model development which consisted of several stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The sample of this study was students of class XI MIA 1 totaling 29 people. Data collection techniques were carried out by test and non-test. To find out the research hypothesis used inferential test, and to find out the effectiveness of the module using the N gain score obtained from the N gain value of the student's pre-test and post-test scores. Non-test data is used to find out the practicality of the module by giving a questionnaire. The results of inferential test show that there are differences in learning outcomes with KKM in the subject matter of excretion systems that are significant for student learning outcomes. Then based on the N gain score of the pre-test and post-test scores, in this study N gain is 0.72, the module is categorized as "effective" is used and the student practical questionnaire is said to be very practical because it shows an average value of 88.52% while the teacher practicality questionnaire is said to be practical because it shows an average value of 90.83%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that the imtaq integrated biological module on excretion system material is effective and practical used in students of class XI MIA1 As-Shofa Islamic High School in 2018- 2019.
