Abstract

Phrase is a grammatical unit consisting of two or more words which occupies a single function sentence. Problems investigated in research These are (1) How are the exocentric phrases found in the News Riaupos.co? (2) How are the endocentric phrases found in the News Riaupos.co? (3) What are the coordinating phrases contained in the News Riaupos.co? (4) What are the appositive phrases found in the News Riaupos.co? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, conclude and interpret about exocentric phrases, phrases endocentric, coordinating phrases and appositive phrases found in the News Riaupos.co. The theory used is the opinion put forward by Chaer (2012). The research method used in this research is descriptive method qualitative approach. Type of research conducted including Library Research (library research). Results and conclusions from this study are (1) Exocentric phrases found in RiauPos.co, among others in Pekanbaru City, includes the phrase ecocentric directive, because the two elements of the phrase do not have the same distribution the same as the components. Both with prepositions and with its core elements. The phrases raised include ecocentric phrases non-directive, because the non-directive exocentric phrase consists of articulus, while the core element is a word or group of words that verb category. (2) Endocentric phrases found in Riaupos.co including new students because one of the elements can replace overall position. (3) Coordinative phrases found in Riaupos.co, among others, students and students of the phrase have: equality or declaring something equal. (4) Appositive phrases found in Riaupos.co, among others, the Chancellor of Lancang University Kuning (Unilak), Dr Junaidi, the two components refer to each other. The entire phrase contained in the Riaupos.co News obtained as many as 329 data phrases.
