Abstract

Moon Orchid is one of the national pride orchids among the types of orchids found in Indonesia called "puspa Charms". This orchid is widely used as a source of cut flowers and potted plants and garden plants. Increasing orchid needs and endangered orchids due to forest exploitation need to be supported by the supply of seeds in large quantities and in a short time, as well as good quality by multiplying through tissue culture. Tissue culture research using Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and added growth regulator Benzyl Amino Purine (BAP) which obtained results that the concentration of BAP is significant to the percentage of shoot formation, number of shoots, percentage of forming leaves, number of leaves, percentage of forming roots, number of roots, and not significant to the percentage of living explants. Research phase of the development of researchers using the ADDIE model. Determination of the sample of this study used a large group technique taken randomly consisting of 16 2015 class students who have taken tissue culture elective courses in the 5th semester. Data collection techniques use validation sheets by material experts and learning experts and see lecturer and student responses to the module which was developed by conducting limited trials. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis. The results of this study are in the form of printed products namely tissue culture modules. The results of validation by material experts with an average percentage of 86.26% (very valid) and learning experts 87.74% (very valid) indicate that the modules developed are very valid to use. The results of lecturer responses with an average percentage of 94.27% (very good) and students with an average of 92.40% (very good). Based on the results of the validation of the experts it can be stated that the products developed are very valid and can be used in the learning process.
