Abstract

This study aims to see the standard of public service of the population and civil registration of Kampar district especially in the service of death certificates and obstacles in the process of providing death certificates service standard indicators of assessment of public services include, Requirements, Procedures, time, costs / tariffs, service products and complaint handling, the type of research in Kampar district right in the Kampar Regency Population and Civil Registration Service is a descriptive survey research that is a questionnaire priority as a data collection tool, and data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions of objective objectives research on meticulous locations. There are 2 sample populations in this study, namely 8 employees and a total of 20 people. Sampling techniques Incidental sampling technique based on chance, that is, whoever meets the researcher can be used as a sample, if the person met is suitable as a data source. type and data collection techniques consist of primary data collected by questionnaire and interview techniques along with secondary lists using observation techniques. while the analysis technique used by the researcher based on the analysis and the researcher concluded that the public service standards at the population department and the civil registration of Kampar district, especially in the service of death certificates, were in this fairly good category because there were still some indicators that were not good such as service time it is still 7 days or more and there are still people who spend money and lack the professionalism of employees who seem to be slow in working.
