Abstract

This study aims to determine the Performance of Social Rehabilitation Employees in Pekanbaru Social Service. The type of research the writer uses is qualitative with a sample that is the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Section, the Head of the Social Rehabilitation Section and the Protection of Children and Employees. The author takes a sample of 6 people and the type of data used is primary data collected by the author from questionnaires, interviews and observations while secondary data collected by the author through regulations, documentation, and other data. The data that I got was analyzed descriptively. Based on the research results of the Performance of Social Service Employees in Pekanbaru City (Study in the Social Rehability and Child Protection Section) of neglected children is in the category of Good Enough, this is reinforced from the results of observations that the author did can be seen that viewed from the target aspect of providing guidance and training neglected children have not been implemented well, then from the aspect of quality, the training officer is not based on educational background in accordance with the specified training field, furthermore the implementation time of coaching activities has not been carried out in accordance with the stipulated time and from the aspect of obeying the principle, employees have not obeyed the rules performance where employees are still seen not in place when training activities are taking place and the lack of ethics is responsible for the achievement of its performance so that skills training activities only take place just like that.
