Abstract

This research aims to find out how the Supervision of Transportation of Heavy Tiers in the Public Road where there are 3 indicators, namely Conducting Action used in research. This is a quantitative method that is by interviewing and interacting with people at the research site. This research can be categorized as a descriptive research that is prioritizing the questionnaire list as a data collection tool and the data collected then becomes the main raw material for Pekanbaru City Trucks Setting Standards, Conducting Assessments, Improvements: Methods for empirical conditions of objectivity analyzing the existence of research objectives at the location studied Location this research is at Pekanbaru City Transportation Department. Types and data collection techniques used in this study consisted of primary data collected by interview and documentation questionnaire techniques and secondary data collected using observation techniques. The results of this study conclude that overall the Supervision of the Department of Transportation Against Heavy Tonnage in the Public Street of Pekanbaru City is in the category of "Fairly Supervised". The inhibiting factor in the implementation of this supervision is the Ability to Implement Supervisors, Facilities and Infrastructure, Coordination.
