Abstract

This research aims to determine the performance of the Village Consultative Agency which discuss and approve the draft village regulation on Seberang Pebenaan village, Keritang district, regency of Indragiri Hilir. Performance evaluation indicators used include responsibility, responsiveness, accountability, efficiency, and effectiveness. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive methods. This method can be categorized as a descriptive study by prioritizing the questionnaire list as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions and objectivity of the existence of research objectives in particular locations. The location of this research is in the Seberang Pebenaan village, Keritang district, regency of Indragiri Hilir with three population groups and the sample in this research is the Village Government amounting to four people, the Village Consultative agency totaling nine people, the Chairman of RW has eleven people. The sampling technique used in this research is the census technique. Types and data collection techniques used consist of primary data collected by questionnaires, interview and observation techniques and secondary data collected through registered documents, books and notes. While the data analysis technique used is the frequency table. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the Evaluation of the Performance of the Village Consultative Agency in discussing and approving the draft Village Regulation in Seberang Pebenaan village, Keritang District, regency of Indragiri Hilir was at a fairly good evaluation interval. Recommendations that need to be considered are mainly related to the Performance of the Village Deliberation Board in discussing and approving the Draft Regulations that must be optimized are Responsibilities in carrying out their functions such as asking the headman village to hold meetings to the Draft Village Regulations and involving the community in the Village Regulation discussion process .
