Abstract
Given the importance of grammatical errors in the writing process, this research aims to describe the grammatical errors that occur in the worksheet second grade students at SMAN 2 XIII KOTO KAMPAR. The researcher analyzed the data using the theory of Dulay et al. This research was conducted with Qualitative Methods for describe Grammatical Error in narrative text. The sample is 20 class students two at SMAN 2 XIII KOTO KAMPAR. The instrument used in this study is a documentation of worksheets for students writing narrative texts. Based on error analysis grammar, four types of errors were found. These four errors are as following. Error determining oxy is found 32, addition error occurs 2, Incorrect error formation 37 and misordering errors found 3. Frequency the highest error is error and misformation, and the lowest frequency are additions and misordering. That's because students are still experiencing difficulties in learn the structure of grammar in the writing process.
