Abstract

Perception is information that is obtained from someone, so that someone it can provide a response regarding either the bad or the positive negative that information. Motivation is one of the suspected factors the effect on learning outcomes especially for Indonesian language teachers. The problem in this study is how students perceive against Giving Motivation by Indonesian Class X Hasanah Vocational Teachers Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019 ?. This study aims to collecting data and information collected is described, analyzed, and interpreted in detail and systematically, so that it can be known the actual state of Perception of Class X Students Against Giving Motivation by Indonesian Language Teachers at Pekanbaru Hasanah Vocational School 2018/2019. The theory used in analyzing this research problem are Hamzah, Lilik Sriyanti, Muhibbinsyah, Arikunto, and Ben Walgito.From a number of theories used by Sardiman, Sugiyono and Abdul Rahman. Technique Data collection used in this study is observation and questionnaire. The method used in this study is a quantitative method namely the research method that collects data using research instruments and quantitative data analysis. The scope of Perception research Class X Students Against Giving Motivation by PPL Teachers at Hasanah Vocational School Pekanbaru Academic Year 2018/2019 belongs to the scope of motivation learn. The population of this study was the tenth grade students of Pekanbaru Hasanah Vocational School 2018/2019 academic year totaling 257 students. Samples used is random sampling which amounts to 41 students. The results of the study show that the overall percentage of intrinsic motivation is 79% and percentage the overall extrinsic motivation is obtained by 89%. It can be seen that the highest percentage of extrinsic motivation is 89%. So Percentage of Perception of Class X Students Against Giving Motivation by Teachers Indonesian language at Pekanbaru Hasanah Vocational School 2018/2019 Academic Year is 84%. The range of perceptions of students of class X on motivation by the Indonesian language teacher at Pekanbaru Hasanah Vocational School, the category is good (81100%) research can be accepted.
