Abstract

The 2013 curriculum is an improvement and strengthening of the previous curriculum, school-based curriculum (KTSP). One of the aspects improved in the 2013 curriculum is its curriculum competency standards (SKL). Anecdote text is one of the material contained in the 2013 curriculum and can be used as an alternative assessment in learning Indonesian in senior high school. The followings are some discussions put forwarded in this research (1)What are the structures of the anecdote text of the collection of stories of Imaginary Interviews with Yung Dol by Hang Kafrawi? What are the rules of the anecdote text in the collection of stories of Imaginary Interview with Yung Dollah by Hang Kafrawi? Can the collection of stories of the Imaginary Interview with Yung Dollah by Hang Kafrawi be an alternative assessment in learning Indonesian in senior high school? The purpose of this study is to describe, analyze, and interpret the structure, linguistic rules, and to find out whether the collection of stories of Imaginary Interviews with Yung Dollah by Hang Kafrawi can be an alternative assessment in learning Indonesian in senior high school. The data of this study was based on 11 selected stories of Imaginary Interviews with Yung Dollah by Hang Kafrawi. The theories used to analyze this research problem were Kosasih (2017), Yustinah (2014), and Suyanto (2013) while the method used in this study was a qualitative descriptive method using observation, documentation and hermeneutic techniques. Data processing was done by classifying, analyzing, interpreting and drawing conclusions from the data contained in the collection of imaginary interviews with Yung Dollah by Hang Kafrawi. Finally, it can be concluded that there were 6 data that were formed with perfect anecdote text structures: abstraction, orientation, crisis, reaction, and code. And there were 5 data that were formed with anecdote text structures that were not perfect because they did not have a coda. In addition, it was found there were 71 past tense sentences, 19 rhetorical questions, 105 temporal conjunctions, 130 material verbs, and 11 command sentences. The collection of stories of the imaginary Interviews with Yung Dollah by Hang Kafrawi can be used as an alternative assessment, namely instruments for written test and oral test in the form of multiple choice questions, essays, group work projects, and quizzes.
