Abstract
Effective teacher attitudes are teachers who provide services learning and seeking students in learning, understanding learning styles each student is the best way to maximize the learning process at class. Teacher behavior in the education and learning process will provide strong influences and patterns for fostering children's personality behaviors his student. The purpose of this study is to find out how style is studying class VIII students in Indonesian language subjects at Mts Masmur Pekanbaru. This study uses the theory of Nini Subini (2011). That method used in this research is descriptive method. Population contained in this study there were 62 populations from class VIII Mts Masmur Pekanbaru. The sample of this study used saturated and take the entire population. The overall result is a visual learning style 361 of the 62 students sampled with an average of 58.2%, learning styles auditory 396 of 62 students sampled with an average of 63.9%, and 359 kinesthetic learning styles out of 62 students sampled on average 57.9%. Interpretation that refers to the final result, which is the most learning style often used by students is the auditory learning style with an average value of 63.9%.
