Abstract
The implementation of the Village Government is inseparable from the Village Consultative Body in the success of village development, but in reality the Village Consultative Body has not carried out its function optimally but rather as a complement to the implementation of Village development. The implementation of the functions of the Village Consultative Body based on Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages Article 55 The Village Consultative Body has the function of discussing and agreeing on the Draft Village Regulation with the Village Head, accommodating and channeling Village aspirations. Public. and monitor the performance of the Village Head. The purpose of this study was to determine the Implementation of Village Consultative Body Functions in Sungai Besar Village, Pucuk Rantau District, Kuantan Singingi Regency and to determine the inhibiting factors in the Implementation of Village Consultative Body Functions in Sungai Besar Village, Pucuk Rantau District. Kuantan Singingi Regency. The research method used is a quantitative method with data collection techniques through observation, questionnaires, interviews and documentation. Discussion on the Implementation of Village Consultative Body Functions in Sungai Besar Village has been carried out but has not been maximized where the BPD has not carried out its function in providing changes in Village development starting from planning Village Regulations, proposing community aspirations in Village development, and overseeing the work program of the Village Head so that Village development activities tend activities determined by the Village Head. Researchers suggest that the BPD hold a member meeting in planning and discussing Village regulations, the BPD must be close to the community in accommodating community development proposals, and the BPD must supervise the work activities of the Village head.
