Abstract

The village head is the leader of the village government. In the allocation of village funds, the principle of transparency is needed. Transparency in managing village funds is the key to how the implementation of village fund distribution can be managed properly or not and information related to village funds can be known by various parties because it must be open. The results showed that: 1) 1) The village head of Tanjung Melayu lacks transparency on the road that guarantees an open system and standardization of all public service processes. Lack of transparency to the public which facilitates public inquiries about various policies, services and processes in the public sector. It is transparent to organizations that provide reporting of information on irregularities in the actions of public officials in serving activities. 2) The factors inhibiting the transparency of the Head of Tanjung Melayu Village, Kuindra District, Indragiri Hilir Regency in managing village funds in 2018 consist of low community participation, limited access to information system technology, and a lack of guidance in managing village funds.
