Abstract

This thesis entitled "Evaluation of 2013 Curriculum Policies on Primary Schools in Rengat District, Indragiri Hulu Regency", this research was conducted based on phenomena found in the field, such as the high level of children dealing with the law, and also the results of Indonesian PISA which in three assessments were still below average As the promise of the Republic of Indonesia in the 1945 Constitution, that the state will provide decent and quality education to educate the nation's life, which can now be seen in one of the instruments used to achieve this goal, namely the 2013 curriculum that is currently used. This study aims to evaluate the instruments used, using the evaluation theory proposed by Nurcholis, which in this evaluation focuses on four main points, namely Input, Process, Output, and Outcome. The resource persons who played a role in this study were the principal of two accredited A schools and one accredited B school principal. To provide a comparison, three school principals who came from different schools were also selected with different levels of technology, habits, and equal distribution of education. The results of the study show that in broad terms, that the current 2013 curriculum is already running, but it is still inseparable from the accompanying problems, which, when viewed from two different regions, have different problems, thus there is still much that needs to be addressed. to perfect the current curriculum.
