Abstract

This study examines semiotic in a mantra entitled Semiotic Analysis of Mantra Pekasih Community, Lubuk Siam District, District iak Hulu Kampar Regency ". Problems examined in this study, namely: 1) What is the icon in the Lubasih Siam Village Mantra Pekasih Community sub-district of Siak Hulu Kampar Regency ?, 2) What is the inner index Mantra Pekasih Community of Lubuk Siam Village, Siak Hulu District, District ampar ?, 3) What are the symbols in the Pekasih Village Community Mantra ubuk Siam District of Siak Hulu Kampar Regency ?. The purpose of this study it is to describe, analyze, and deduce icons, indices and mbol which is found in the Pekasih Community Mantra of the Lubuk Siam Village sub-district of Siak Hulu Kampar Regency. The theory used is theory emiotic Peirce in Christomy and Untung (2004) and Sobur (2009). this research approach is a qualitative approach. This type of research is field research. This research uses a descriptive method. Source of data in this study was obtained from 4 speakers and obtained 10 ata happy mantra. Data collection techniques in this study use observation techniques, recording techniques, and recording / recording techniques. Results examine the icons, indices, and symbols contained in the mantra ekasih Lubuk Siam Village Community Siak Hulu District Kampar District. con that is often used in the Pekasih Community Mantra of the Lubuk Siam Village sub-district of Siak Hulu Kampar Regency, which is an icon in the words I and the court human child. An index that is often used in community love spells esa Lubuk Siam District of Siak Hulu Kampar District, namely in the word engkobuo or kobuo and mengonakkan or mamakai mantra. Symbol which is often used in the Community of Lubuk Siam Village Mantra Mantra sub-district of Siak Hulu Kampar Regency, namely the word tanguli. Then you can say each spell has various elements of icons, indices and symbols according to the purpose and words in each mantra that the shaman speaks au spell wearer.
