Abstract

Evaluation Task Local Companion Village in Rural Development Efforts in the Gulf Rimba Siak District of Koto Gasib ABSTRACT This research is by the absence of significant changes shown by the Local Companion Village in carrying out its duties to increase community participation in rural development. This study aims to identify and explain the factors inhibiting the task of Village Local Assistants in Village Development Efforts in Teluk Rimba, Koto Gasib District, Siak Regency. This research was conducted using qualitative research methods. Data collection techniques used in this research are interview techniques, observation, and documentation. The results of this study are the Village Local Assistants in Teluk Rimba, Koto Gasib District, still do not understand their duties and functions as Village Assistants. This can be seen from the absence of significant changes that can be demonstrated by the Local Village Facilitators in Village Development in Teluk Rimba. In addition, there is a lack of coordination between the Village Head and Village Officials with Village Local Assistants in Teluk Rimba, Koto Gasib District. This can be seen from the Village Head who feels that the existence of Village Local Assistants does not have a significant impact on increasing the capacity of Village Officials in Teluk Rimba.
