Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of performance of employees in the field of mutations and employment status of Regional Office XII Pekanbaru Civil Service in the process of proposing promotion of the rank of Civil Servant. Employee performance appraisal indicators used include Performance Quality, Accuracy, Initiative, Capability, Communication. The type of research located at the Regional Office XII of the Pekanbaru State Civil Service Agency is descriptive analysis, namely research using a number of samples (respondents) as primary data, namely data obtained from the sample used as the main material for analyzing the existence of the objective of the variables studied. There is one population group and the sample in this study is employees, amounting to 9 people. The sampling technique used is the Census Technique. Types and data collection techniques used consisted of, primary data were collected using a questionnaire list technique and interviews and secondary data were collected using observation techniques. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher concluded that the performance of employees in the field of Mutations and Employment Status of Regional Office XII of the Pekanbaru State Personnel Agency found in the field can be categorized as “Good” even though there is data where the work done is not in accordance with the SOP. The obstacle in the promotion process is the lack of number of employees in the Field of Transfer and Employment Status of Regional Office XII of the Pekanbaru State Civil Service Agency who are working on the promotion process. Where the number of files proposed for promotion exceeds the ideal number in one period.
