Abstract

Empowerment is a process that runs continuously to improve the ability and independence of the community in improving their standard of living, that effort can only be done by awakening their empowerment, to improve life above their own strength. This type of research is field research and the nature of this research uses an approach. qualitative. Primary research data sources are the Head of the Siak Regency Market Service, the Tualang District Government, the Head of PPKL and also street vendors. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation and documentation of this research using inductive data analysis techniques, namely based on specific facts, then analyzed and finally found solutions to general problems. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be seen that the Tualang sub-district government and also the market office have carried out empowerment but not maximally, related parties must also continue to innovate in empowering the tuah allied market street vendors. The government has done the empowerment of street vendors in the tuah serumpun market as well as possible, but there are still obstacles faced by the Tualang sub-district government in empowerment. Therefore, the government must pay more attention to the progress in the fortunate allied market after empowerment is carried out.
