Abstract

Based in the results an the research conducted by the author regarding the Evaluation of the Implementation of the Camat's Tasks as the Coordinator of Community Empowerment in Rengat Subdistrict, Indragiri Hulu Regency, the indicators carried out during the study were holding formal meetings, raising a team, making manuals, holding informal meetings. In facilitating the authors in collecting data needed in the assessment, then in this study is included in the type of quantitative research using descriptive survey methods. the definition of survey is limited to research whose data is collected from samples or populations to represent the entire population. The reason for choosing the location of that study has because that has still a lack of coordination between the sub-district heads in community empowerment activities, especially in handling infrastructure development in rengat sub-districts. The samples in this study were 1 Rengat SubDistrict Head, Indragiri Hulu District, 7 Rengat District employees, 16 village heads or village heads, 10 hamlet heads and 10 Rengat District Community Empowerment Institutions in Indragiri Hulu District.
