Abstract

Al-Quran is Allah’s words and those who read is a worship. Al-Quran from all sides is great that revealed as a guidance hudallinnas. From the preliminary reseach that done by interview Al-Quran Hadist teacher at Mts Bahrul Ulum Ukui satu sub district Pelalawan regency found some students were not able to differenciate between long and short reading, some of them were not able to differenciate between the words which have almost the same makhraj (on how to pronounce) and some students were not able to explain how to read ikhfa dan izhar correctly. By utilizing methods or strategies accurately, teachers will be able to achieve teaching objectives.As a teacher, he always expects students to achieve good learning outcomes, and the ability of students to read Al- Qur'an is also good. Based on the problem above, the reseacher is interested to conduct the reseach by having a study about Murrotal Method to know whether this metod will give the influence toward students’ ability in Reading Al-Quran at Mts. Bahrul Ulum Ukui Satu Pelalawan Regency or not. The Murattal method is reading the Al-Quran and sound. In addition, the Murattal method can also be interpreted as a recorded voice of the Al-Qur'an. Based on the analyzing data, it can be conluded that there was a effect of Murrotal Method on Students’ Ability in Reading Al-Quran at Mts. Bahrul Ulum Ukui Satu Pelalawan Regency. The coefecient correlation was 0.115 or 11.5% in the range of 0.0 – 0.199. It means there is significance effect of Murrotal Method on Students’ ability in reading Alquran is still low. While determination coefecient (R square ) was 0.013. It means the ability of students in reading Al-Quran influenced by the implementation of Murrotal method is 01,3%.
