Abstract

One of its social responsibilities is to provide educational development assistance for poor students, but in reality the social responsibility program by PT Andalas Agro Lestari has not been evenly distributed to poor students. This study aims to determine the implementation of the Social Responsibility Program of PT Andalas Agro Lestari in Singingi District, Kuantan Singingi Regency and the inhibiting factors in its implementation. The theory used in the research, according to Rohman, is that the implementing policies include Communication, Resources, and Company Characteristics. The research method used is descriptive quantitative, where the data collection technique used is by distributing questionnaires to respondents. The data analysis technique uses an interactive analysis model, namely reducing the data that has been successfully collected, then presented in tabular form and then conclusions are drawn. Hasil penelitian yang dilakukan dapat diketahui dengan cukup baik dimana implementasi Program Tanggung Jawab Sosial PT Andalas Agro Lestari belum dilaksanakan secara maksimal. The discussion known that the provision of educational assistance to poor students was not evenly distributed so that there were still many poor students who had not received assistance. The conclusion is that the implementation of educational assistance for poor students has not been carried out optimally, this is due to the lack of socialization carried out by PT Andalas Agro Lestari to the community, and direct data collection on aid recipients for the poor. However, the authors suggest that Manager PT Andalas Agro Lestari increase the amount of assistance provided to poor students, conduct socialization of educational assistance to poor students, and immediately record the eligibility of educational aid recipients.
