Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low concentration of student learning. While concentration is an important aspect in learning activities. Therefore, in increasing the concentration of student learning, teachers should provide appropriate counseling guidance services. The use of appropriate services can solve problems that inhibit the lack of concentration of students while learning, so students can determine better future plans. Based on these problems the researchers conducted research on the effect of counseling guidance on student learning concentration. From this arises the problem of how the effect of Counseling Guidance on Student Learning Concentration in MAN 1 Filanti Meranti Islands China River. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Counseling Guidance on Student Concentration in MAN 1 Filanti Meranti Islands of China River. This type of research is quantitative research. The subjects were students of MAN 1 in the Meranti Filial Islands of the Chinese River and the object was the Effect of Counseling Guidance on Learning Concentration. The population in this study were 44 students and were also sampled. Data collection techniques in research using questionnaires and documentation. Based on the data analysis, it can be seen that there is an influence of Counseling Guidance on Student Learning Concentration in MAN 1 Filial Meranti Islands of the Chinese River. This is in line with the results of a simple linear regression analysis obtained significance value smaller than 0.05, namely 0.046 <0.05, then the research hypothesis is accepted. There is an influence between counseling guidance and learning concentration. The high level of influence of Counseling Guidance on Student Learning Concentration can be seen from the Pearson correlation probability value of 0.091 at the interval of the correlation coefficient located in the range of 0.00 - 0.199 and the criterion of the very low level of influence between Counseling Guidance on Student Learning Concentration in MAN 1 Filial Meranti Islands Chinese river.
