Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze Public Service Ethics at the Sidomulyo Barat Village Head Office, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City along with the inhibiting factors and recommendations or suggestions that can be given. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method by giving questionnaires to the people who are in the West Sidomulyo Village Head Office, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. The results of the study show that: (1) The process of justice in providing services provided by employees to the community is still classified as not good with a percentage of 66.5 classified as good enough. This is because there are still aspects of the employees of the Sidomulyo Barat Lurah Office, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City, which are still not optimal, namely being able to be responsible, honest, transparent, thorough, competent, and loyal in attitude to the community. (2) the inhibiting factors in Service Ethics at the Sidomulyo Barat Village Head office, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City consist of Internal factors, namely factors that are found in themselves or in the self-awareness of employees in providing services to the community and External factors, namely factors that come from outside such as the community. who need services to employees of the West Sidomulyo Village Head Office, Tampan District, Pekanbaru City. Recommendations or suggestions that can be given are the need for employee awareness in providing services such as being smiling in providing services and receiving service suggestions
