Abstract

Supervision is the process of observing all organizational activities to ensure that all work being carried out goes according to a predetermined plan. The purpose of this research is to identify and analyze the factors that influence the supervision of the social impact of internet cafe business. This type of research is qualitative. The research location is in Rumbai District, Pekanbaru City. Data analysis using descriptive. The results of the study explain that repressive supervision has been carried out quite effectively by going directly to the field, also cooperating and coordinating with each other with sub-districts and the community. Preventive supervision has also been implemented quite effectively, such as supervision of business licenses and the imposition of sanctions on internet cafe business owners who commit violations. Factors affecting the supervision of internet cafes include the limited number of personnel, the supervision system that has not been effective, the number of internet cafe owners committing violations and the lack of strict sanctions. The conclusion of the study explains that repressive supervision and preventive supervision have been carried out quite effectively. Suggestions that can be given to the Civil Service Police Unit are expected to increase the number of personnel, it is hoped that the Civil Service Police Unit is more innovative and firm in taking action, to the District side to improve coordination.
