Abstract

This study aims to analyze the strategy of the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service in Managing Parking on Jalan Imam Munandar Pekanbaru City. The assessment indicators used include planning, organizing, directing and supervising. The research method used is the quantitative method. This research can be categorized as a descriptive research, namely prioritizing a list of questionnaires as a data collection tool and the data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material to analyze the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the existence of research objectives at precise locations. The location of this research is in UPT Parking Pekanbaru City with the population and samples in this researcher are UPT Parking employees totaling 15 people and parking attendants totaling 20 people. The sampling technique used in determining the individual sample is accidental sampling. The types and techniques of data collection used consisted of primary data collected with data collection techniques used consisting of primary data collected using questionnaires and interviews and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is to use a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique, the researcher assessed and concluded that the Pekanbaru City Transportation Service's Strategy in Managing Parking on Jalan Imam Munandar Pekanbaru City was in the "Good Enough" interval according to the respondents' responses and the authors' observations.
