Abstract
The historical potential is one of the great assets for Siak Regency to develop Siak tourism. One of the leading tourist objects in Siak Regency is the magic dragon lake. However, at this time the tourist attraction is still lack of facilities and infrastructure in the tourist attraction. In addition, road access to the tourist attraction has not received attention from the government. Though the tourist attraction is one of the mainstay attractions in Siak Regency. The purpose of this research is to find out the implementation of strategic area and tourism destination tasks in tourism, youth and sports services in the development of Naga Sakti lake tourism objects in Siak district and to find out the inhibiting factors in the strategic area and tourism destinations in the tourism agency, youth and sports in the development of the Naga Sakti Lake tourist attraction in Siak Regency. The type of research in research is included in the type of Descriptive Survey using Quantitative methods. The results showed that the implementation of the duties of the Strategic Region and Tourism Destination Section of the Tourism, Youth and Sports Agency in the development of Naga Sakti Lake attractions in Siak Regency was quite good. This means that from the five indicators that the author has determined that not all have been carried out maximally, especially indicators of tourist attraction and tourist attraction facilities. This is because the attraction of Danau Naga Sakti does not have a good attraction, so this tourist attraction is still empty of visitors even though this tourist attraction is very potential besides this tourist attraction is not supported by adequate tourist facilities to attract visitors so visitors who came to the Danau Naga Sakti tourist attraction did not get a good impression of the tourist attraction. Inhibiting factors in the implementation of strategic area and tourism destination tasks in the Department of Tourism, Youth and Sports in the Development of Danau Naga Sakti Tourism Object in Siak Regency is still insufficient for tourism development in Siak Regency, low Tourism Information, lack of human resources capitalizing on the potential of culture and tourism and the low awareness of the local community about the importance of developing tourism in the area.
