Abstract
This study aims to determine the performance of employees in providing services to the people of Enok Subdistrict, Indragiri Hilir Regency. by using indicators namely speed, quality, service, and value. This type of research is descriptive survey research, which is to apply or describe the state of facts that exist in the field related to employee performance. using quantitative methods. there are two groups of population and samples, namely 8 employees and 100 people, namely people who are taking care of administration. Two sampling techniques used in determining individual samples are the census technique for the population of employees and the purposive sampling technique for the community. the types and techniques of data collection with primary and secondary data, then based on the results of interview observations and questionnaires that the job evaluation of employees at the Enok sub-district office, Indragiri downstream district is said to be "quite good". However, it is necessary to consider in providing services to the community, employees must complete service results according to the specified time, employees must act fairly, there is no discrimination between people who take care of letters/documents, employees must also be responsive, friendly to the community. As for the inhibiting factor, namely the lack of existing facilities and infrastructure, supervision must be carried out.
