Abstract

This study was conducted aiming to determine the level of income and the level of welfare of street vendors in Traditional Pekanbaru City. The data conducted in this study are primary data and secondary data. The population in this study were all street vendors who sell vegetables, as many as 30 people. As a sample in this study set as many as 15 street vendors or 15% of the total population. The method or data analysis technique used in this study is a quantitative descriptive analysis method with the steps of preparing the guidance questionnaire, by analyzing what are the obstacles in doing business. Comparing the amount of income they earn with the Decent Living Standards (KHL), as many as 15 respondents have met the Decent Living Life Standards (KHL). So it can be concluded that the street vendors in Pekanbaru Traditional Market can be said to be prosperous.
