Abstract

This study aims to determine the Performance Evaluation of Engineering and Facilities of Road and Water Traffic Facilities in the Implementation of Maintenance and Maintenance of Traffic Light at the Transportation Service of Pekanbaru City. The theory used in this study is the Evaluation theory proposed by William N Dunn (2003: 610) including; Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Equity, Responsiveness and Accuracy. This type of research is a qualitative type, and the location of the research is in the Office of Transportation Department of Pekanbaru City. There were 9 people who were used as informants in this study and to collect and search data researchers used interviews in this study, after the data were collected and will be analyzed descriptively, in order to get answers about the Performance Evaluation of Engineering and Road and Water Traffic Facilities. After conducting research and in-depth interviews, the results of the research on the Performance Evaluation of the Engineering and Facilities of Road and Water Traffic Facilities in the Implementation of Maintenance and Maintenance of Traffic Light at the Transportation Agency of Pekanbaru City are "Good Enough", with some obstacles such as the problem of Traffic Light that is Damaged or dead The replacement takes a long time, and has to wait from the Center to replace the new Traffic Light, also because the Traffic Light that is dead will cause congestion at every intersection such as on weekdays and on holidays, and also the maximum maintenance and maintenance carried out by the Engineering Section and Traffic Facilities regarding the maintenance and maintenance of Light traffic.
