Abstract

This research was conducted to determine the effect of compensation and work discipline simultaneously and significantly on the performance of the employees of PT. Hoho Pangkalan Kerinci and to determine the significant influence of work discipline on the performance of employees of PT. Hoho Pangkalan Kerinci, to find out PT. Hoho Pangkalan Kerinci. This research was conducted with descriptive and quantitative methods using primary data and secondary data obtained through interview interviews and research questionnaires. Respondents taken were 58 people. This sample is used for the purpose of collecting data required in descriptive analysis which is determined using census techniques. From the results of the descriptive analysis it can be concluded that the results of the study are the results of the overall responses of the respondents regarding the work compensation, discipline and performance factors of the employees of PT. Hoho Pangkalan Kerinci is in good category. Of the two independent variables, namely X1 (compensation) and X2 (work discipline), the most dominant influence on the performance of PT Hoho Pangkalan Kerinci employees is compensation (X), this can be seen from the t value for X1 which is equal to 13,637 while the t-table namely (0.05; 55) = 1.672 because count (13.637)> from t table (1.672) then Ho is not significant. Therefore, the authors suggest that the leadership should consider the issue of compensation to be received by employees, because from the results of the work that employees do, it can be seen that compensation is a motivational factor and employee morale at work so that it can have an impact on work discipline and employee performance.
