Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the Village Chief in coordinating participatory development in Bukit Pedusunan Village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency. The task of the Village Head includes the coordination of participatory development in the Village. The indicators in this research are giving guidance, giving guidance, giving direction, and supervising. The type of research located in Bukit Pedusunan Village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency is a type of quantitative research with descriptive survey research type, which prioritizes questionnaire lists as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool is then used as the main raw material for analyzing empirical conditions of objectivity the existence of research objectives at the location under study. The population and sample of this study were the Village Government, BPD, Community and Community Figures in the Bukit Pedusunan Village. The types and data collection techniques used consist of primary data which is collected through research tools in the form of questionnaires, interviews and observations, then the primary data is collected using a frequency table tool. Based on the research results it can be concluded that the role of the Village Chief in coordinating participatory development in Bukit Pedusunan Village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency is in the Pretty Role category, meaning the Bukit Pedusunan Village Head in Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi District in coordinating participatory development has played a role. The research recommendations are expected to be the Head of Bukit Pedusunan Village, Kuantan Mudik Subdistrict, Kuantan Singingi Regency so that they can be more participatory and involve the community in coordinating the development that will be carried out in the Village.
