Abstract

Based on the duties and functions of the Fisheries Office of the Meranti Islands Regency, the above shows so many tasks and responsibilities in the field of public services that must be carried out by the Fisheries Office of the Kepulauan Meranti Regency to the community. But in this case the writer tries to discuss about the service in making a fishery business permit given by the Fisheries Service of Kepualauan Meranti Regency to the people of Kepulauan Meranti Regency. In this study the researchers focused on discussing fisheries business both in the field of fishing and fish farming, fishing business licenses and fish farming were given by the Head of the Islands Meranti Fisheries Service to all officials appointed on behalf of the Regional Head. The formulation of the problem is as follows: How is the quality of service and community satisfaction in making fisheries business licenses in the Meranti Islands Fisheries Service? While the purpose of this research is to see the quality of service and the level of community satisfaction in making fisheries business licenses in the Fisheries Office of the Kepulauan Meranti Regency. The method used is descriptive qualitative and quantitative methods; The sample is the Head of Service along with the Office and Community employees who manage permits for 30 people, questionnaire data collection techniques and interviews and descriptive, quantitative and qualitative data analysis. This study concludes that the quality of service and community authority in making fisheries business permits in the District Fisheries Service Meranti Islands. Obstacles that have been overcome The lack of public interest in arranging fisheries business permits, namely one of them is a fishing business permit, this is due to a lack of socialization to the community about the importance of taking care of the permit
