Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality on home purchasing decisions at PT. Bungo Riau Mandiri. This research is a quantitative type. The research location is at PT Bungo Riau Mandiri, which is a company engaged in the property development sector in Pekanbaru City. The sample in this study amounted to 60 using accidental sampling technique. The data analysis used is simple linear regression. The results of respondents' responses regarding the quality of home products at PT. Bungo Riau Mandiri is already in a good category as seen from its strategic location determination, the durability of the building and the materials used. While the results of the responses regarding the purchase decision are already in the very agreeable category, this explains that in making a home purchase decision at PT. Bungo Riau Mandiri is determined by the location of the house that is easily accessible, has a unique design and type and quality. Hypothesis testing explains that product quality has a significant effect on home purchase decisions at PT. Bungo Riau Mandiri with the resulting r square value of 0.639 explains that product quality can influence consumer decisions in buying a home at PT. Bungo Riau Mandiri amounted to 63.9% and the remaining 36.1% was influenced by other variables not examined in this study.
