Abstract
In the Rokan Hilir District Head Regulation number 28 of 2012 concerning the transfer of part of the Regent's authority to the Sub-District Head, it is explained that there are a number of compulsory and optional functions delegated by the District Head to the Sub-District including the matters of development planning. The purpose of this study was to determine how the role of the Camat in development planning in Kubu District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The theory used in this study is the theory of development planning according to Sjafrizal. This research uses quantitative methods with descriptive survey research type. The sampling technique for the community uses a purposive sampling method in which the research will select informants who are considered to know information in depth and can be trusted as a source of data. Data collection obtained directly from respondents through interviews, questionnaires and observations. To analyze the data using a frequency table tool and the results will be concluded. Based on the results of the research that has been done, it can be concluded that the Role of the Camat in Development Planning in the District of Kubu, Rokan Hilir Regency can be said to be Quite Done. Suggestions that researchers can give so that the Kubu Sub-District really runs the policies that have been given in order to encourage the development process more quickly in order to realize an advanced, prosperous and prosperous society.
