Abstract

This research was conducted at PT. Bosowa Asuransi Pekanbaru Branch with the aim of knowing the surety bond marketing mix at PT. Bosowa Insurance Pekanbaru Branch. The population in this study were all parties related to the marketing of Surety Bond, namely employees of PT. Bosowa Asuransi Pekanbaru branch, contractors, suppliers, and consultants and the sample was taken from 94 people, consisting of 1 branch head of PT. Bosowa Asuransi Pekanbaru, and 94 (ninety four) Surety Bond customers who are separated based on their line of business, namely: 20 contractors, 40 suppliers, and 34 consultants. From the research results, it can be concluded that the statements submitted to 94 respondents and 1 branch head of PT. Bosowa Asuransi Pekanbaru, that the most influential on the marketing of Surety Bond at PT. Bosowa Insurance, is product variety / product diversity. It is clear that the availability of Surety Bond products at PT. Bosowa Insurance is no longer in accordance with what the market needs and is also irrelevant to the Regulation of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing of the Republic of Indonesia No. 31 / PRT / M / 2015 dated 01 June 2015. Surety Bond's marketing mix strategy at PT. Bosowa Insurance is still lacking, especially regarding the types of products. This can be seen clearly from the 11 (eleven) types of Surety Bonds, which are: available at PT. Bosowa Insurance has only 4 (four) types, namely Bid Bond (Guarantee of Offer / Tender) Performance Bond (Guarantee of Implementation) Advance Payment Bond (Guarantee of Advance Payment) Maintenance Bond (Guarantee of Maintenance). For that it is suggested to the leadership of PT. Bosowa insurance in order to add product variations and must pay attention to government regulations.
