Abstract

This study aims to determine the analysis of terminal management of Taluk Kuantan City by the Department of Transportation of Kuantan Singingi Regency. The Transportation Office of Kuantan Singingi Regency in managing the terminal of Taluk Kuantan City is important because the terminal of Taluk Kuantan City is one of the problems until now it has not been handled properly. To analyze these problems the researcher used the G.R Terry theory in accordance with these problems using assessment indicators consisting of planning, organizing, mobilizing and controlling. This type of research located in the terminal city of Taluk Kuantan is a descriptive surver, which prioritizes questionnaires as a means of collecting data and data collected with this tool and then implements the main raw material to analyze the empirical conditions of the objectivity of the purpose of the study at the meticulous location. There are three population groups and the samples in this study are employees, travel drivers and passengers. Passengers in this case are those who use public transport services in the terminal of Taluk Kuantan City. The sample size determined from these three population groups is 5 people for employees, 10 people for travel drivers and 25 people for passengers. The three sampling techniques used in determining sample individuals are purposive sampling techniques for employees and incidental sampling techniques for groups of travel drivers and passengers. The types and data collection techniques used consist of, primary data collected using questionnaire and interview list techniques and secondary data collected using observation techniques. While the data analysis technique used is by using a frequency table tool. Based on this analysis technique the researcher assessed and concluded that the management of the terminal of Taluk Kuantan City by the Transportation Department of Kuantan Singingi Regency was at a fairly good assessment interval.
